InPlay Global is a Miami-based innovative start-up creating the first SEC regulated securities tied to the real-time performance of college and professional sports teams. As a new financial asset class, Performance Securities™ are pioneering the future of trading at the intersection of sports, data, and capital markets.
We are looking for GTM Interns that will be brand captains at their college/university and region. You will lead your market segment, drive user growth and provide the market intelligence that shapes our global product roadmap. The GTM Intern will collaborate with teams across business development, marketing, and product development to support the execution of go-to-market strategies aligned with InPlay Global’s growth objectives.
What you'll own
- Supporting the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for InPlay Performance Securities and the InPlay Trading Challenge.
- Develop a campus activation plan for how you would promote InPlay Global at your university.
- Connect InPlay Global to leaderships within relevant organisations (finance organisations of any kind, business fraternities, sports business clubs, Greek life, etc.).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure our growth strategy is informed by primary data.
- Help prepare client-facing materials, including pitch decks, product briefs, and marketing collateral.
- Analyse pipeline and campaign performance using CRM and analytics tools to provide data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement efforts.
- Support outreach and engagement initiatives, including email campaigns, events, and digital marketing activities.
- Assist in identifying and qualifying target client segments, including institutional investors, family offices, and advisory firms.
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, sports management, business, economics, marketing, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in financial markets, sports, and/or fintech.
- Strong communicator with sharp analytical and problem-solving instincts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Familiar with AI tools for research, drafting, and project development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus points
- Prior experience in financial services, sports, consulting, or market research.
- Exposure to data analysis tools (Excel modelling, Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with go-to-market frameworks, sales funnels, or customer segmentation.
